Rockhampton’s climate makes it one of the best destinations to enjoy rides in those cooler months with over 300 days of sunshine a year, allowing our trails to remain open all year round. June through to August offer peak rides, perfect for those looking to escape the winter down south.

What does it cost?

First Turkey Mountain Bike Park and the Mount Morgan Trails are free of charge, allowing you to explore Rocky’s ranges for free all year round.

Where to stay
