Get ready, Rockhampton! This Australia Day, we’re going undercover for an epic country music celebration that promises to deliver a "shed load of fun" at the Rockhampton Showgrounds. Join us on Monday, 26 January 2026, for an awesome day filled with music, games, food, and true-blue Aussie spirit—all under the Big Shed!

What’s On

From 3:00pm, the Robert Schwarten Pavilion will transform into a buzzing hub of entertainment, featuring:

• Country Music Extravaganza: Enjoy live performances on the Kookaburra Stage by an incredible lineup of local and emerging country music stars.
• Big Backyard Fun: Step outside to enjoy free rides, backyard games, and amusements on the lawn.
• Food & Markets: Savour delicious treats from a variety of food vendors, explore local markets, and quench your thirst at the licensed bar.
• Air-Conditioned Chill Zone: Take a break from the excitement in a comfortable, cool retreat inside the pavilion.
